I would say it has a chorus real enough, that is, a chorus that makes it a proper song;
Going out with other girls, was always such a bore But since I fell in love with you I need you more and more
And;
If you ever change your mind I`ve a certain cure An old refrain, it lingers on L`amour, toujours l`amour...

I am going to revive this thread that I started many moons ago. This has now taken over the title of Forgotten Roxy Single from Pyjamarama. I would have thought the current live line-up, especially guitar and drums, would enjoy playing this live. Yet still it is absent from the set lists. Perhaps one day it will return? Clearly it must be not one of Bryan's favourites. A pity.

My vote for forgotten/underrated single always use to be 'Both Ends Burning', but even that gets more plays than AIWIY!
And yes, The Emperor's shirt

Interesting post, this.
What strikes me is that when sets out Ferry to choose his upcoming setlists he probably visits the albums and the songs he feels are strongest, he's proud of and most popular.
So AIWIS has some strong contenders in TTOIA, OOTB, BS (must be a favourite of his), Casanova (later version) and even Prairie Rose (get's an occasional outing).
It just shows what a strong album Country Life is.
