Anybody else bought tickets from HMV Music website?

I contacted HMV about the Glasgow tickets last Friday (I had already phoned them once and they said the tickets would be sent out 7 working days before the event) and received this reply...

"Please be advised your tickets should be despatched to you by 1st class Royal Mail and should be with you shortly.
In the unlikely event your tickets are not with you 72 hours prior to the event date please contact us on 0843 221 0100 to advise.

They better get their f*****n' finger out, I don't like the sound of that 72 hours crap!

The original email that came when the tickets were purchased said:-

These will be sent out to you as stated during your purchase, usually four weeks prior to the event. If you have not received your tickets 7 days before the event please contact hmvtickets.

Wish they would make their mind up, 7 days, 72 hours? As you said Mr Rifff, 72 hours is cutting things a bit fine. What about folks who are maybe travelling from a distance to Glasgow and making a holiday/trip to see the shows.

I have never used HMV for tickets before and usually would have bought them direct from the SECC website but as these were the only pre-sale option there was no choice really.

Its the first time that I have ordered tickets from HMV website, last July!!!.... luckily my tickets arrived last week for the Manchester gig however I did e-mail them just after Christmas asking when they will be sending them out, and received this reply

Dear Helen
Thank you for your email

Please be advised these tickets should be despatched approximately 2 weeks prior to the event

They seem to have conflicting answers in explaining when the tickets will actually be sent out

I have never bought tickets from HMV either, I don't understand what the problem could be, they can't blame the weather now!

If they have not arrived by 72 hours before the show the only option I could see would be to print your own, which isn't really acceptable, what if you don't own a printer?

I have done that once before and didn't really think much of it, anyways, there is still 2 weeks to go........... :twisted:

Can anyone who has their tickets already tell me if they are "souvenir" tickets which may account for a delay with printing/promoters or are they just bog standard tickets?

Ah, no special artwork on then! I thought perhaps that they would have the image from the posters advertising the FYP tour.
