Thanks for posting this. I have to disagree with Phil. Sir Paul MCc has certainly heard of Roxy. In the Coming Up video, supposedly one of the horn players is modelled on Andy.

I seem to recall Paul may have played bass on this track as well as producing it IIRC.

Paul & Linda also attended one of Bryan's 'In Your Mind' shows at the RAH - they were seen in one of the boxes. Phil of course was part of the band for that tour.

I think Phil was playing down Roxy's importance/influence. Part humility, part not remembering every little detail of the past - unlike us.
