prairie rose was played in dublin vicar street a few years back. great. mr vivaroxymusic...do you recall that one? we were watching it together. it's still my wife's favourite roxy gig with koko.

I recal that one very well. If I remember right it was when Andy Newmark was called in at the 11th hour when Paul Thompson had to pull out. The show seemed a bit edgy. The Cork show the next night was like night and day and was a superb show.

I remember both the Dublin and Cork shows that year.
Dublin was stifflingly HOT. At Cork the next night Roxy had slighly changed the song running order. Andy Newmark played the intro to whatever song was the 2nd one in Dublin, which was later in the set at Cork. He stopped after a few beats; Bryan then said 'And on drums Andy Newmark!'
Does anyone else remember the incident?

yes it was hot that night. when i got back to my hotel there were a bunch of paps there, canon eos-1ds in hand ready to snap me and my wife as we got out of the cab...only to immediately stand down when they saw who it was, saying "it's nobody". kid you not.

there was a video in the mid 80-s. The guy look like him was singing sitting on the bar stool holding glass of champagne and in that glass a girl was dancing or something like that...was it him? Juat trying to fing who the singer is in that video, thanks.
