Close your eyes and think of Roxy Music. What do you see? I see the crazed sci-fi hillbilly super rockers of 1972. I wish Ferry had never released These Foolish Things. After it, he seemed to make a decision to try and write `proper` songs, diluting and eventually destroying my vision of the band. Close your eyes and think of Roxy Music. What do you see? |

This is straight the opposite of what I wish, admire and look for. Hope was born the moment Roxy started to sound like other bands. No artifice please! |
