At the conclusion of episode 3 of "The Americans", the piano intro to Sunset begins and a heavily edited versiuon of the song plays to the credits.

The Americans is about Soviet sleeper spies living in Suburban America during the 80's. So far, an interesting show made better by the music selections. On the episode guide, click on Episode 3 for a snippet of film with Sunset accompanying it.

Thanks EERO

Most of the time it's people in The States that are barred access to videos linked through VRM...

It appears somebody out in Hollywood's "Creative Community" is aware of the possibilities of digging into the early Roxy catalog for sound clips!

I was never a huge fan of Sunset (it drags on a bit IMHO), but in the context of the plot premise underlying "The Americans" it is quite evocative.

And I might also say that Don Draper on "Mad Men" exudes more than a little of the physical character and charm of a certain BF!

I have never seen Mad Men so looked up Don Draper played by John Hamm to find the first episode had the title "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" :)
