I have tried to ascertain any differences in either content or quality between the import and domestic versions of the complete recordings boxset. Can anyone enlighten?

I have the japanese one and it is the UK version with an OBI, same catalouge number etc as UK.
The japanese version has the added bonus of a booklet but this is shrink wrapped on the outside of the box.

This is a photo of the Japanese version. The box and its contents are exactly the same as the UK version even the catalouge numbers which can sometimes be the only difference in other nations.
The box is shrink wrapped then the booklet is placed and shrink warapped over the box.
