Post subject:  FOR YOUR PLEASURE EUROPEAN TOUR?
Anybody knows if The band is going to play in European venues (not festivals) after all dates in UK ?
In 2001 tour they did concerts in different locations , not only in the UK , I was at Barcelona show in June ,it was a very short one, a festival is not the best palce to enjoy Roxy , and i am sure many people are waiting to see them in Spain, Italy, France,Germany etc...

Yeeeeeees, touring in England again!!!!!! I saw them in Nottingham in 2001 and I will be going again in Feb 2011! Wonderful!

That five-day gap between Nottingham and London has me curious. More dates to be added?

Or the Brit Awards, perhaps? They usually take place in early February. Roxy's 40th anniversary would seem an appropriate time to throw them a gong.

The Brit awards will take place on 15th February 2011 so beyond that gap in the Roxy dates but I have had thoughts along the same line as you Peanut.

Bryan will be 65 in September, new solo album in October, Roxy Music dates in Jan/Feb, 40th Anniversary year of their debut album. Could all that activity raise the profile of Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry for "The Brit Award for Outstanding Contributuion 2011"?

If they don't get it next year then I think that ship will have sailed for good!

Mind you, I was thinking that back in 1999/2000 when BF was back in the spotlight after the release of As Time Goes By.............they gave it to The Spice Girls that year!! :shock:

Yipiee! I'm going to Birmingham...! :D :D Will be quite expensive (the ticket, the trip from Belgium, the hotel...) bet yet I'm very pleased! Still have some months to make some savings... ;)

I live in Spain, and have seen the band playng in Barcelona at sonar in june ,and at lovebox -london in july.
Please..does anybody know if the band have plans to tour out UK next year ,or ,as it seems, UK and Australia will be the end of the line...?

Brian /Phil ,please (if you read this,as i think),am i asking too much?? ,only knowing if i will see you next year?wouldnt you like to come back to Spain again with the FYP tour?
