Roxologists and Fellow Dilettantes, I came across a very interesting interview on Youtube entitled "Bryan Ferry: I was inspired by Hollywood." Unfortunately my extremely limited IT skills prohibit me posting one of those "Link" things that you modern space cadets use. I'm more a quill and ink man myself but I'm sure that if you search the aforementioned, you will arrive. Its well worth the journey because you'll enjoy an 18" interview, made by a French company, with "The Taste Tarantula" and Antony Price were they describe the concept, inspiration and execution behind every Roxy album cover. It's completely fascinating and is a great inspiration. The level of creativity is extraordinary and it's easy to see how they put the art into rock. Enjoy! Regards, Windswept |

Olde Windswept, I think that is is same film that was shown as part of the Olympia Exhibition that was on last year in Paris at the "Bon Marche" and I think at the Beats International event, perhaps Smudge can confirm as he went to see it. The youtube clip is posted by Studio One, straight from the maestro's camp. Below that another short film, London - Paris, enjoy both ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDMEcnaGOn8 http://vimeo.com/46369240 ![]() |

Roxy, Un grand merci! I new I wouldn't be able to outsmart the Roxologists that haunt this side of this hallowed cyber hall but my work was not in vain - I really enjoyed the second video you posted me back. Regards, Le Ancien Windswept |

Apologies for the delayed reply, Roxy. ![]() I'm patiently waiting for the issue of a nice coffee table book featuring out-takes from the cover art photo sessions. It would be a nice addition to the 40th (41st...) anniversary celebrations... ![]() |
