Kalimera. Does anyone here remember the "Pace" posters from the early to mid 70's? I have asked around, and even the usual culprit's don't seem to remember them. Pace did posters of anyone who was anybody from that era. I had 2. They measured about 4'x2', or 2'x4' if you were holding them the other way. and my 2 were; 1. Roxy with E.J to the left, Ferry in khaki G.I. kit, and Andy in a sky blue number with black sax emblazened on same. That was 4'x2'. 2. Bryan in white tux sitting on a bamboo type chair, cigarette very much in evidence. That was the 2'x4' one. I believe mine's are still in the attic at mum's. Surely someone else will have them? Efkharisto. |

Was the Roxy poster the one which looked like they were performing (probably a tv appearance)? I think I've still got them both, certainly the Ferry poster, I've got or had another Ferry one with him wearing a kimono in a red limo. |

Ah, Memory Lane! My bedroom wall definitely had the third of Roxy's examples (I think that's a rare shot of Rick Wills on bass, isn't it?), as well as the one of BF sitting a high backed wicker chair. I seem to recall BF was wearing a white jacket or tux and (surely a fashion faux pas?) thick white socks visible between his black trousers & shoes! ![]() As SB says, the cigarettes were well in evidence: Gitanes from France (although now made solely in Spain). It must be subliminal advertising combined with teenage hero worship because I still smoke that brand to this day! ![]() |

Can't find the BF picture online; best I could find was this one, which looks like the same photo shoot (although the socks are well hidden!)...

Ah yes! Third picture: taken from the live televisionshow De Van Speyk Show (NL), broadcasted on 19 December 1975. Roxy play(back)ed: Both Ends Burning End Of The Line Sentimental Fool Love Is The Drug Still looking for a vid/dvd of this (apparently lost) performance... |

Roxy, very good! Gold star, and all that. I forgot about the first pic you posted, or poster you picked, and that was probably my favourite of them all!. It wasn't pace though. The second from the Manifesto tour, again I was aware of it at the time, never bought it, and had also forgot about that one as well. The 3rd poster is the baby I'm referring to, for which, I thank you and, Mr/Mrs Sentimental, thanks for the info as to where it was taken. I would die to see that. The fourth one again, I remember but never had. The one Mr. Smudge refers to, is indeed the other one I have although in it, I seem to remember his hair being more "Teddy Boy" like and it was right close up. Not his hair, him. Mum's laying slabs today, then after that, she's going up the attic to try find them for me. It's a mine of information, this place, so it is. |

Stone me, your research is thorough, Roxy! ![]() That is indeed the poster in question, although it's been cropped, so that the young & impressionable don't become addicted to Gitanes cigarettes or white woolly socks... ![]() |

Indeed! That's it. Fantastic piece of intuition, although my description from memory was equally as impressive, not. Glasgow Apollo set list from October '74 as well. How appropriate, and lovely. What kept you though? x |
