Something for the Weekend!!!
Roxy's performance at Lovebox will be shown on Sky Arts on 14th August at 9.00pm !! Bryan's 2004 Montreux show will be shown the next day at 9.00pm !

Far be it from me to dampen anyone's enthusiasm (always good to see any broadcasts of BF & the group), but Roxy will only be one of several acts featured during the 90 min Lovebox 2010 highlights programme, i.e. it's not the complete show.

Likewise BF (whose name is even mis-spelled in the Sky Arts website...) is only one of several artists in the 60 min Montreux 2004 programme.

Does anyone know yet how long the RM and BF portions of these programmes will be?

The TV listings suggest that, following the initial showings, the Lovebox programme will be repeated on Sunday 15/8 at 02.20, 09.00 and 15.00. Similarly, BF at Montreux will be repeated on Monday 16/8 at 02.00, 09.00 and 15.35.

You weren't far out with your guess, Nick! Roxy's contribution to the programme was restricted to the final 12 mins: a brief chat with Andy (explaining how & why the group came to do Lovebox), followed by performances of My Only Love and Love Is The Drug.

Only discovered on Friday that Jo Whiley's Radio 2 show the previous evening had re-broadcast Roxy's June 2001 gig from Glasgow SECC. However, it's still available on the iplayer for another 4-5 days; try the link www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00tbsvr. The Roxy gig is 61.5 mins into the two hour broadcast and the 10 tracks (listing available on request :P ) run to 56.5 mins.

They bookended the programme, do the strand was on first (?) and my only love and love is the drug at the end

Ah, apologies; missed the first few minutes of the broadcast, but am surprised to hear that Roxy featured twice.

Watched the Montreux 2004 programme tonight; BF had the first 12 mins approx., the 3 tracks being The Only Face, Avalon & Slave To Love.
