No, no, no! 'Manifesto' requires no tinkering. It and 'Spin Me Round' are standout tracks and fantastically different bookends to the album.

My thoughts exactly. Furthermore the album version of manifesto with its long intro and chorus free structure is great ( way better imnsho than the remixed b side version of manifesto done a little later).

Elegantly Ageing Hipsters,
Fear not, Roxology is the broadest of churches and the fact that we are re-recording does not mean that you can't keep your original recordings!
tres amicable,
Windswept
Ps. We are not talking about giving the piece a new intro — mealy about bringing it to fruition!

The only tinkering required on "Manifesto" would be to have TGPT playing on it, which he clearly doesn't :(

[quote="le freak"] I like "You Can Dance". I don`t like Alphaville!

Cher le freak,
Roxology may be a broad church mais, il faut etre serieux!
'You Can Dance' should not be talked about in public. The fact that two extremely talented Geordies could come up with this is a matter of extreme concern!
Reflechissez!

Cher Roger,
Bonsoir et bienvenue, enfin un homme sérieux!
Don't worry, TGPT will be laying down the beat for Manifesto Deux.

Windswept

Hi Roger
Are you sure about that? I always thought that I could hear some of tgpt's signature 'skip' on that track....just like I can on stty. On "manifesto 2" (or whatever that rerecorded version is called) it definitely isn't Paul....

I would say it was PT playing on "Manifesto", I know he didn't play on some of the songs and it is definitley not him on "Spin Me Round".

Serenade , of course.

Could it happen to me?

Spin Me Round

No Strange Delight

All 4 hit the category of forgotten, but not by this forum, hidden gems.

It doesn't sound like Paul to me on "Manifesto", particularly if you compare the album version with the live performance. I think he said sometime ago that he didn't play on a lot of the album. We could always ask him on his forum ;)
