Played Glasgow last night. Avondale and I attended and were very pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Anyone else there? Do you agree? |

I wasn't there....but I always thought they were a great act. Glad you enjoyed the gig. Did you ever catch Remake/Remodel? They were fantastic fun. |

Remake/Remodel were just that, "fun". But Roxy Magic are the real deal, even The Emperor Himself says so! |

I was there,they as always,were fantastic.As a Roxy/Ferry lover since 1972,they are imho the next best thing.Fancying myself as a bit of a Roxy aficionado,and having seen the real thing around 60 times,I was dubious and cynical before I first saw them at ivory blacks ,for a tenner 4 years ago,but loved them within minutes.6 gigs later in Glasgow/Liverpool I think they improve every time.We are going to see them again in Liverpool in 2 weeks at La Barbacoa,£15 for a 3 course meal and show ,private table and perfectly played Roxy tunes sounds no bad to me.The singer Kevin idolizes BF and gives his all in his search for perfection as the main man's number 1 imitator/tribute. |
