Hello folkes! I'm new to this list but, by now means, not new to Roxy Music. I have been a fan since I first heard Virginia Plain back in late '72. Since then my admiration has just grown with each new record and each new tour.
I am a Dutch-American. Unfortunately they didn't tour the US as often or with as great of results as they did the UK and EUR.
I'm posting here in hopes that I might meet a Newcastle fan or two (or more).
I couldn't bear that this Roxy Tour might be the last (and that they might not make it to the US). I bought a ticket for Newcastle 25 Jan, 2011.
Now I'm really excited. I'll get to see RM again AND in Mr. Ferry's home town (so to speak).
I'm asking any Newcastle fan to please write so that I might get to know Roxy fans up north. I've only ever been to London and Manchester.
