Post subject:  Complete CD recordings Box Set
Well, I want this . I've decided . I have the 1999 remasters , but I now want to get this , so I've started on ebay.
I'm not paying over the odds for it. (£95 on Amazon) I doubt that I'll find a record store that will have it now, but I'm going to start a search.
Any other ideas?

Hello,
You should try www.wowhd.co.uk where they sell this box for a price of 59,07 Pounds including free shipping.
But be quick,usually they sell out rather quickly.
I bought this box set last year and don't regret it for a single second,
in my opinion they sound closer to the original LP's than the 1999-remasters.

WowHD is good (their stuff is either very expensive or very cheap; no middle ground!) and postage is free, but (despite the .co.uk suffix) they ship from somewhere like Hong Kong*, so there's the Customs factor to consider...

(*Their stuff is genuine, not cheap Far East copies, but I've received pressings from Europe, USA, South America, Australia & Far East at different times.)

If you're in the UK, Customs will charge 20% VAT on any declared price above £15 and there would be a £8 Royal Mail fee too (charged by Royal Mail because they collect the Customs fee!).

So, £59 could come out nearer £79... :shock:

Noticed this morning that Amazon were offering this set for £39.51 (free postage in the UK), if anyone is still in need...

Not sure if Amazon would ship it overseas, so if any member of the extended Roxy family needed a personal shopper, let me know. Regular airmail shipping cost would add just over £8 to Europe or £13-£14 beyond (tracked & signed service would add a further £4-£5, I think).

Just noticed this but Smudge was on the ball a few weeks ago, although it's marginally cheaper again now at £36.10 (free UK p&p). Great buy for anyone still to purchase it.
