"- Remastered album with Virginia Plain and The Numberer (cd and vinyl?)
- Outtakes and demos
- DVD of early footage
- Print of the album cover suitable for framing
- Hardbound book featuring essays (Bracewell and Roxy members) and rare pictures/outtakes of cover art photoshoot."

John confirming that Wockawockas wishlist above is happening is very exciting.
John, do you know if there will be some 5.1. mixes on the DVD?
Have you any news on a release date?

Ole

Bryan speaks about the Deluxe Edition in this recent interview.
https://www.redbulletin.com/watches/en/ ... -moser-cie

Can we look forward to anything new from Bryan Ferry?
Yes, we made recordings which nobody has ever heard for the first Roxy Music album and now we’re releasing them in a sort of deluxe version.

When?
Probably July 2016.

On vinyl, which in some ways you can compare to a mechanical watch?
No, I think it’ll be on CD. And there’ll be a DVD too.

You’re also a composer and songwriter. Are there new songs in the pipeline?
Yes, absolutely.

Can we expect anything this year?
No. There’ll be a big book about Roxy Music. And then we’re remixing an album of my first solo performance at the Royal Albert Hall in 1974.

One last question. How did the news of fellow musician David Bowie’s death affect you? You were about the same age.
It made me very, very sad. We’d known each other for a long time. But that’s life for you. Death is part of it too.

Well spotted Roxy! How typical of BF that the most up-to-date news of this long-awaited deluxe set should come via a watch article!

Interesting news that a DVD will accompany. And a big book of Roxy. My bank manager is already asking to see me....

If this was coming out in July 2016 then shouldn't we have had some sort of official announcement by now? It's only a few weeks since the Live 2015 album came out so maybe Team Ferry have been pre-occupied with that. Although an autumn release for the Christmas market would make more sense I fear. So a bit longer to wait, I guess. Did I really just mention Christmas in June?

Thank you Roxy and I agree with True2Life's comments.
July is only 3 weeks away.
I like the watch by the way, will it be in Debenhams soon?!!!??

Rendezvous & True2Life, there seemed to be no date on the article but after reading again a couple times I noticed that the interviewer said it took place at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) event in Geneva which I found out took place 19 - 23 January 2016.

I wonder if things are still on track.........

Hmm, January... -Reminds me of the "Interview Secréte" article I posted some time ago. No wonder he talked about July by then.

According to an (advertising?) article in a supplement in today's UK Daily Telegraph (Sat June 11th) the limited edition Ferry watch will set the purchaser back £12,600. So sadly it'll be just the one for me then.... :o

I had planned one for each day of the week plus a spare. I've had to do a bit of a re-think. Ditching the spare.
