Nice to see DB's character sharing a flat with Bryan Ferry.

I personally think the whole video captures a facet of his true self..

Not only does he share a flat with Bryan Ferry, but his great taste also extends to him being a Chelsea supporter!!

As a Palace supporter, I can't quite go along with the Chelski thing....
But, that Temple video is the gift that keeps on giving.

Still missing the Duke big time...

Makes you wonder about 'time'. Take solace in that great motto....As the spinal tap drummer said, before he spontaneously combusted: 'have a good time, all the time'

Well that's the end of this thread then; if we've descended into talk of nogger teams, there's surely nothing left to say about TTWD, eh?

Just a bit of friendly banter, no big deal.

Yesterday I received my vinyl copy of Blackstar. I purchased it from Amazon so I got the Autorip the day he died and it took this long for the vinyl to be produced and arrive. Let me say that it is the finest work of art that Bowie ever produced and far and away his most creative album cover ever. The packaging equals and passes Avonmore. And I loved Avonmore. For all the revinylists out there it is a joy to own. Bowie really raised there bar on his final exit. What a mic drop. I would urge anyone who has the cd or download to go get it and enjoy the work in it's totality.

Cher AzArtist,

W2 envies you your life as a "revinylist" - he has become way too seduced by this digital stuff and is looking to find a way to join your club. Mrs W is the problem. If W2 proposes allocating more space to music he fears divorce might be imminent!

Regarding 'Black Star', you are so right. It is an absolute masterpiece and IWNSHO, his best ever album. It is truly a sophisticated piece of work that remains both accessible and exciting.

In such a great legacy that his last album is one of such high quality. It was the same for one of W2"s other musical heroes, Robert Palmer (RIP). His last album, 'Drive' was also one of his absolute best.

Their music will live forever.

Salutations,

Windswept
