I first saw Roxy on the 1979 Manifesto Tour. I was fairly pleased with the songs chosen for that tour but would have chosen different songs for the Flesh +Blood andAvalon tours. What songs should Roxy have performed on each tour ? Bear in mind they averaged 16 songs per show around that time .

That's such a good question, and one we've thought about a lot in Roxy Musique.
We put on a long show and generally play three songs from each album plus the three singles that didn't get on albums.
If we were only to play 16 songs then we would aim to play two songs from each album and VP would count as belonging to the first album, PJ to FYP and Jealous Guy to Avalon.
Certain singles "have" to be included, Love is the Drug, Dance Away, Oh Yeah for instance so a sixteen song set would like a bit like this:
Not in order: Album track from Roxy Music Virginia Plain Do the Strand Pyjamarama Street Life Song for Europe All I Want is You album track from Country Life Love is the Drug Both Ends Burning Angel Eyes or Trash Dance Away Same Old Scene Oh Yeah Jealous Guy Avalon
But Roxy Music soon stopped worrying about playing tracks from the first album and Editions of You took Pyjamarama's slot. My Only Love became the favoured Flesh and Blood track (unfortunately in my opinion)
