Anyone got any idea at all of how rare this Roxy product is on eBay?

It's not too that rare but the current price is worth it. The sound quality is not that good either.

Cheers John. So is it actually studio outtakes or something else? And does it contain anything interesting in comparison to what we have on the studio albums themselves?

Few of the vinyl bootlegs turn up these days and many were pressed in very limited quantities of a few hundred (true bootlegs, although most are almost certainly now available as CD-Rs in larger quantities).

I have 20 or 30 such Roxy vinyl albums, almost all of which were bought 30-35 years ago. I probably paid a tenner or so each for them (which was probably three or four times the cost of a general release LP), so £30 or so now possibly represents fair value.

The killer for this item and others for sale outside Europe is the shipping charge and the prospect of having to pay 20% VAT plus a set fee of £8 to Royal Mail (for collecting funds on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs!) on its arrival, if the declared value exceeds £15 (just under $20 at the current exchange rate).

Thanks folks. Glad I didn't bid in that case. Brilliant as they are, the Musikladen performances are hardly studio outtakes and I've got them in pristine quality on DVD anyway.
