Thanks for posting this. I have to disagree with Phil. Sir Paul MCc has certainly heard of Roxy. In the Coming Up video, supposedly one of the horn players is modelled on Andy.

Andy also played on McCartney's 'Tug of War' album.

I seem to recall Paul may have played bass on this track as well as producing it IIRC.

Paul & Linda also attended one of Bryan's 'In Your Mind' shows at the RAH - they were seen in one of the boxes. Phil of course was part of the band for that tour.

I think Phil was playing down Roxy's importance/influence. Part humility, part not remembering every little detail of the past - unlike us. :)
