One would think that such a tour would be extremely promotable and could generate a lot of $$$ in terms of ticket sales and sales of the deluxe album.

But BF seems resolute in focusing all his "tour energy" on solo gigs. Maybe he'll change his mind but there appear to be no indications that this will happen...

Would be lovely, just like another album or two...but I don't think it's likely.

But of course, you never know.

Hey, the deluxe edition is coming out soon, so...

Yeah, the unusual thing is that when many musicians cite influences, they almost always say ROXY MUSIC (as opposed to Bryan Ferry).

Judging by his set lists, this IS Ferry's idea of a Roxy tour!!!

He said of the band a couple of years ago that "this is my Roxy Music now" For me he, & they could never replace RM. Most of the RM songs don't sound right, so I haven't been to see BF for a few years now, But I'd jump to see RM anytime.

Agreed. I've always thought that side one of 'Manifesto' was the last true Roxy sound. From then on in there was very little experimentation with sound and by 'Avalon' the carpet slippers were well and truly on!!!
