Let's imagine that these were opaque coloured quality vinyl pressings (180 gram or 200 gram), and they were somehow tied in with the cover art, I would hope for:
Roxy Music -either white or gold
For Your Pleasure - Midnight Blue
Stranded - Red (same as MC's dress)
Country Life - Forest Green
Siren - Light Blue
Manifesto Splatter (Red/Black mix)
Flesh + Blood - Beige/Tan
Avalon-Gold or Silver

What say ye?

Cher Robertron,
trés interesant!
As a whole, I see BF;s music in a wide spectrum of colours, much of red/green (Mamouna) whereas, for exemple, David Bowie's music only evokes nuances between black and white.
Talking about RM albums, I agree with Robertron on most of them-

RM - Gold
FYP - Purple
S - Red
CL - Green
Si - Turquise
M - Red/Green
F+B - Orange
A - Green

Salutations à tous!

Don't give the record company ideas to flog us the recordings we own several times over - they're perfectly adept at it already! ;)

I would hate for this sort of thing to start off. I am on a Bowie Collectors site on Facebook and I can't believe how much repackaging of Bowie stuff has gone since he died. Several of his albums have ben released with several coloured vinyl for each album. The collecting thing ends up an endless task.

Mais non!
I don't want to have any releases either, just find it interesting to compare music to colours.
By the way, finally I got As time goes by on vinyl (black!). Can someone please inform me if the original had a special inner sleeve or was it plain white? (Bought the record for 110 e from Turkey,)

In white, pink or red, all we, all fans, wanted was a last Roxy album and a last tour. Mr BF said: it's over now.
All we have is the 45 (46?) anniversary album.
After that, this Roxy Music section of the forum can close.
All is said and done.

I bought mine relatively shortly after the release. The inner sleeve was the simplest there is, plain white, with a standard round opening for showing the label.

OK not to the extent of the endless Bowie reissues, pic discs, etc. It was just a thought, albums only NOT singles or comps, and in a somewhat limited pressing.

That's a little harsh. Also, I don't recall BF saying that.
