John

If you're serious about having a female singer in a band to reinterpret Roxy songs, then that German "Motherofpearl" girl I see on you tube has to be number 1!

It was more of a hypothetical situation as I have never really had a desire to do a tribute band. My point was that I was never really into or interested in trying to copy something note for note.

I have heard a lot of the Roxy/Ferry covers that Christina Hohrein has done and we have been working on a track remotely, I hope to get my part finished this weekend to send to her then she can complete her part. ....watch this space.

Regards
J.O'B.

Didn't know Christina Hohrein before but that's awesome: I listened to a lot of videos of her and she does it very well. Street Life, Prairie Rose, Bitter Sweet, I Thought - a young girl who's interested in music from some old guys  . I'm absolutely curious, John, to listen to the result of your work with Christina! Thanks for your postings, John and rendezvous - now I know what you were talking about ...

Hi pianoman,

You're welcome. I'm sure there's some pictures of Christina with Oliver Whawell and the tribute band on here somewhere.
