I found the visual choice more difficult but finally here I am:

RM - Would You Believe
FYP - Beauty Queen
St - Amazona
CL - Prairie Rose
Si - Nightingale
M - Trash (Album Version)
F+B - Over You
A - Take A Chance With Me

A Happy & Healthy New Year to all VRM members from the snowy Bavarian Alps 8-)

My first gut reaction to the cover art is as follows:-

Bitters End
In Every Dream Home A Heartache
Amazona
Prairie Rose
She Sells
Spin Me Round
Flesh & Blood
Tara

One thing I’ve noticed, and it bugs me more as the years go by, is the album name on the cover of Manifesto and Flesh + Blood! They seem to have remembered the tradition with Avalon and just Roxy Music appears on the front (but this just makes it worse really).
Am I being too picky?

Interesting to tease out the threads which might (or might not have ) led to the final decision - Lyrical, aesthetic, ambient ..
When I was younger I based my assumptions on instinct and now even though I'm much more aware of all the references and inspiration - it's still hard to escape the original feeling. It makes perfect sense that Windswept2 picked 2HB - it made me feel like i'd had that thought at one point . I also agree with his choice for Flesh and Blood - but I had to stick with my late teenage thought that I could envisage the women on the album in a Riefenstahl (esque) 80's video shoot with the intro to No Strange Delight as the soundtrack .. As with Pianoman's choice - Would You Believe makes perfect sense . Miniluv - re titles on albums - these are things I also noticed - There were times in my early teens when I would read the name of an unreleased album in an NME article over and over again in the hope that doing so would somehow give me a glimpse into what it would sound like :D A Happy New year to all !
