Album Cover = Which Track This morning I was listening to Stranded and when Amazona began I thought how I'd always thought of this track as synonymous with the atmosphere and imagery on the album cover - then I started thinking about how I'd applied this the other album art. Sometimes it was the mood or a lyric or the atmosphere on the cover itself .. but there was definitely a track which I had chosen for each album cover - Interested to see other people's choices ... Roxy Music = If there is Something For Your Pleasure = For Your Pleasure Stranded = Amazona Country life = Bitter Sweet Siren = Sentimental Fool Manifesto = Trash Flesh and Blood = No Strange Delight Avalon = True to Life |

Oberon There are some that could've have 2 ... for instance Beauty Queen, Mother of Pearl and The thrill of it all were all in there at some point in my life .. but the first list is the definitive .... |

Avalon_eyes - I see your point but I always associated the intro to Sentimental Fool with the blue landscape on the cover. Also, Avalon ( song ) , for me , seemed too salsa ish for the cover ... the intro to True to Life suited the misty landscapes on the Avalon Cover art |

Chers amis, She sells - seashells, surely there is a maritim feeling about Siren. Eight miles high - I see the javelins in front of me after they have been thrown. Avalon, hard to see it can be anything but Avalon! |

Oberon - I understand that Avalon would be Avalon because of the Arthurian theme .... but I always felt the sound of the intro to 'True to Life' was more suited - or maybe the end section of 'More than This'. |

Rendevous - Yes ! Now that I remember - That was also a thing for me .. It seems there's a few pieces on Avalon that suit the cover art ambience .. |

Eventually he has come at it completely emotionally : Roxy Music - 2HB (Kari-Ann could have been in Rick's Club ) FYP - FYP (The art says it all) Stranded - Amazona (The statuesque Marilyn Cole is Amazonian) Country Life - Casanova (Just has to be). Siren - She Sells (seashells) Manifesto - Angel Eyes (are under the masks) Flesh & Blood - Flesh & Blood (the javelins dictate it).
