I’m surprised the Roxy rejection letter to BF from 1971 has not surfaced here yet. It was all over Twitter on April 1st. But is it a spoof?

It’s a spoof. We like to think we are too wise to be taken in.
I was, though, my only caveat being that I had not given it much thought. It looked good and it is funny.

It was indeed an April Fool's joke; I believe that rock writer Tony Barrell has admitted to being its author. ;)

I must confess that my eyes popped at 3 a.m. when I read a Facebook post which "quoted" Phil suggesting that a few select gigs (complete with Eno!) were being considered to promote the deluxe reissue of FYP... Until I realised the date, that is!
