Hipsters,

One of the many things W2 would love to know is exactly what happened with BF and ‘The Gas Board’.

The simplistic explanation appears to be that BF wanted to concentrate on his studies but that doesn’t exactly chime with the time line.

W2 thinks he left the band in ‘67 when he’d have been about 22. His studies would have been over so there must have been other motives at work.

W2 raises the issue because they were a good, solid band that continued on for a while after he left with Graham Simpson still in the line up.

What exactly happened and what provoked the move to London ?

These are the questions du jour. We need that biography!
