Post subject:  The Best of Roxy Music - Vinyl Reissue
Another reissue but this time it’s one that is new to vinyl - 2001’s Best Of that was released to coincide with their reunion tour.

This may suit someone that wasn’t interested in the back catalogue reissues but would prefer a one off compilation. Or there may be people, like myself, who buy anything and everything Roxy/Ferry that is released! :D

I remember thinking this being unusual when it was released as the track listing goes from back to front so latest tracks all the way back to the earlier tracks - makes for interesting listening!

Yellow vinyl is available when ordered through the RM store.

I have offered the idea of a deluxe set where all three shows that Viva came from would be released as 3 full shows together.

I got the CD - it’s an unofficial release but still nice to have. I did have it previously on CD-R bootleg so it was good to get a silver pressed copy and one I can have on the shelf with the others.

Doubtless aided by last weekend's TV, 'The Best Of' reissue on vinyl is new at no.2 on this week's official vinyl chart, 11 on the top 100 sales/physical charts and 43 on the top 100 albums. On the top 100 album downloads chart it's no 15, whilst Street Life is 24 and The UC is 67.
