These two guys take a journey through most of Roxy Music’s output. They seem genuinely in awe and make quite a few interesting observations. It’s well researched and I feel they should be forgiven for making the odd mistake. I don’t agree with everything they say but it’s worth a listen - touching and amusing. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/t ... 0443805607

This is a great listen, I love the guys’ enthusiasm for the whole package ; the music, the artwork, the artistes , the costume changes and the band members’ respective solo works. They are prepared to open their minds to this odd British art school band. Yes, there are a few factual errors, but hey, they’re from across the pond. But , of course , Ferry looked to America for his visual and musical inspiration.

It was indeed heartfelt. It`s never too late to become a Roxy fan. I skipped through and only heard snippets of it here and there. They even had lists. Every true fan has lists. It`s understandable that "Stranded" is the album that stands out to new ears. That cellophane sheen gives a hint of the music inside. Dust won`t settle on that album. It`s rock enhanced, at least at the time it was released. -And Americans? Yeah, Roxy is probably new to many American ears.

I couldn't get it to work, is that because it's Apple and I don't have an iPhone?

J.O'B. Och .... I hate when that happens .. Maybe they're on another platform - They are ! If you type the name of the podcast and Roxy Music into your search engine it shows up with different links to things like Spotify and other platforms ... Good luck - It's v entertaining .

Thanks for posting Gardner, very enjoyable. The fact one of the guys finishes by deciding Roxy are his favourite band was a nice touch.

Mes Amis, What a great podcast - knowledgeable, enjoyable and as the great Le Jardinier says, heartfelt. Windswept lui-meme couldn’t have done it better and there can be no higher praise than that. Salutations a tous, W2
