I would´t say their legacy is so big
Of course that's a perfectly valid opinion, but puzzling all the same on a fan site for a band whose influence and legacy has been acknowledged by music luminaries and journalists around the world, and by a raft of artists that followed.
I think what can be said is their commercial success in some territories, falls short of their artistic success there, most notably in the US. But that doesn't diminish influence & legacy.
It's frequently evident from postings here that comprehension of Roxy's huge success in its home country isn't always fully understood outside our shores. Whilst clearly they enjoyed success elsewhere - in particular Europe - a
general underperformance in record sales compared to the UK is probably a factor, though nowhere near as prevalent as the position in America.
Whilst a small number of bands of similar longevity continue to produce valid pieces of work, the Roxy dynamics and their collective age lead me to disagree that there is "room for more albums" - certainly of the kind we've had to date anyway.
