Hi folks, as the gigs are getting close, has anybody heard what the band line up will be. Personally, I'd like to see Chris Spedding again. He seemed to add something to the live sound.
Hope TGPT is fit and well.

Others may know for sure, but it looks like the line up will be similar or identical to last summer's shows. TGPT has been mentioned in recent articles as back in harness, while Anna Phoebe has apparently tweeted about listening to extra Roxy material (a change in the set list at last?!) prior to rehearsals.

Just saw the post of the line up. There seems to be no violinist unless Jorja Chalmers is not just keyboards. I thought Anna Phoebe was practicing new songs?

Without a violinist, Out of the Blue is less likely to be on the set list - although back in 1982 for the Frejus concerts (filmed by the BBC) Phil handled the violin part of OOTB on guitar and did a fine job.

Jorja will not be playing violin and is playing keyboards. She's done gigs with BF most notably in Paris recently.

They did OOTB without a violinist when Leo Abrahams took the solo on guitar.

It is strange that Anna is not in the line-up :?

Previous quotes from her:-

"The end of a tour is never quite as glamorous as I imagine it should be. You just pack up your stuff, grab your equipment and go – and then section that experience as done and dusted and move onto the next thing. The next gig with them will the UK arena tour starting in January."

She also tweeted this in December:-

"Postman just delivered the whole collection of Roxy Music cds. Time to start learning for the UK arena tour".

Someone must have asked the question direct on Anna's Twitter account:-

"I'm no longer doing the UK Roxy tour! Bryan decided to change the set from the summer set!:)"
