This new set list is perfect, but I'm worried that Roxy won't stick to their guns and stay with it. I'm already seeing reports on list and in the news of complaints that the "hits" are missing. This is a demanding set list for the casual concert goer, of course what people should do is download the songs (if they don't already have them), listen to them and discover how much more there is to this brilliant band than Jealous Guy and Love Is The Drug et all!!

Hmm I know what you mean but I can't really see why people are complaining about the set list after all this is a Roxy Music tour and it may be the last one

Out of the 21 songs played I reckon....

Nine were released as singles = 42%

Throw in Editions of You as a 'hit'

The following singles were not played

All I Want Is You
Both Ends Burning
Trash
Dance Away
Angel Eyes
Oh Yeah
Over You
More Than This

That makes eight

Ergo more 'hits were played than not

Nuff said

The band has a habit of dropping interesting songs as the tour progresses, and now this downright complaining? Sigh...

I'm going to the Birmingham & London gigs and I just hope Roxy stick to their guns.

The Chronicle review (there is a link in another posting) was a nonsense, a fact underlined by the readers' comments at the foot of the page. Everything I've heard suggests that the gig was well received by the majority of the audience.

Anyone who bought a ticket based only on a knowledge of post-Manifesto deserves to be confused and disappointed! :D

If John O'B has the ear of anyone remotely close to the band members this week (and I'm sure that he has!), I hope the message will get through that the diehard fans are delighted with the revised set list.

If there's to be any tinkering, let's restrict it to Beauty Queen & Strictly Confidential in lieu of My Only Love & Avalon!

I shall keep my fingers crossed that the next two Monday nights concentrate on the first five albums at least as much as Newcastle did...

I saw the Youtube video of "Sentimental Fool" - that song has not been played live since the Siren tour. It gave me chills - I am in the US - and can live vicariously through the internet video posts.
:D :D :)

Great set list!!!!. Just add "Beauty Queen" - my ideal of beauty.....

Couldn't agree more.

Sorry , sorry to all die hard fans - but I´m very disappointed to read the setlist. I have no problems with songs like 2 HB, Prairie Rose, Semtimental fool ... but where is the pleasure for those Roxy fans making songs like Dance away, Oh yeah , More than this ...hit single releases ?
Bryan`s voice has gone years ago, and than a song like Semtinental Fool ? I saw it on youtube and again and again. I thougth whats that, is it Roxy ? For me it sounds like ( sorry !!! ) monkey cries.
21 songs, a 90 minutes show, I think it`s not enough for a For you pleasure tour.

couldn't disagree more i'm afraid uwe, though this is a forum and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

punters have had more than enough opportunity to hear dance away, oh yeah and more than this over the past 10 yrs - we've had to wait nearer 40 to hear sentimental fool and 2HB.. both of which, i hasten to add, sound superb on youtube - in my opinion

in fact, of all the videos kindly posted, bryan's voice is one of the highlights. sounds great
