John OB had advised us to await the set list and not jump to conclusions about what might be played. I thought that last night at Birmingham was the best concert I had been to out of 5 [albeit the Manifesto tour at Bristol Colston Hall was memorable for the reunion and the excitement around that - particularly Ferry's entry].
The music was excellent with Mckay and TGPT standing out. Good range through the years with obvious attention to FYP. What was really pleasing was that Ferry 'fronted up' to some difficult songs with his now naturally more limited vocal range. That shows that he's got a bit of bottle I think.
Liked LG arena and concourse. Well worth £65. I am going to watch Wales v England on Friday [admittedly in premier seats] for £75 - so I though ticket price was good value.
