Mondo Rock, the band that is supporting Roxy during the Australian leg of the tour, have announced that they will not be part of it anymore, due to "circumstances beyond their control". Their involvement has been promoted heavily in this country, as they are arguably as bigger drawcard in their own right as much as Roxy. It seemed like an excellent pairing to achieve the most successful and profitable outcome for the tour. I know someone in the band and he said that it wasn't their choice to pull out. Given that this announcement has been made so late in the peace (Roxy will be here in two weeks time), I'm fearful that the next announcement will be that Roxy will be cancelling as well. I desperately hope I am wrong. |
