Post subject:  Roxy bootleg

I was looking back through old copies of Q magazine the other day and found an article on "Important bootlegs" which included a Roxy bootleg called "When You Were Young". This was made up of BBC sessions by the early Roxy in '72 & '73 which were broadcast at the time, apparently including a 6 minute version of Virginia Plain!

I wondered if anyone around here has heard this and is there any chance an agreement can be reached between the band and the BBC to allow legitimate release of these recordings? There are any number of "Live at the BBC" recordings available, why not "Roxy at the BBC"? That would be a great way to celebrate 40 years!

The info roxydude lists is not for the When We Were Young bootleg, but a superior-quality, and more complete, fan compilation of the BBC sessions.

Bob: the BBC sessions are amongst the easiest of all Roxy bootlegs to find. Google is your friend.
