It is a good version and well recorded.

So why is BF sitting down at piano in the back row while he sings his part of the song? It didn't look to me like he ever played the piano (or keyboard) during the song. And as soon as the heavy part started he left the stage entirely. Strange. His he having trouble with his back? Is there some reason he wants to sit down? I had noticed in several postings regarding the recent tour that people noticed/commented upon the fact that he was in the back a lot sitting at the piano and not front stage/center as much as people hoped.

When he performed Dreamhome/Heartache at Radio City Music Hall back in 2003 he was right up front at center stage and the spotlight was on him! When the heavy part came he let the back-up singers takeover as he slowly moved to the wings. In this latest version, after he stops singing he seems to duck out the back with little showmanship.

The music sounds fine in this latest version, but the staging is strange...

He performed the song in 2005 at The Koko Club and sat at the piano then. So that's not unusual. But, he may have back problems. I am 6ft tall and 50years old and can't stand for more than an hour before the back starts hurting. It never used to 5 years ago ! Bryan's a lot older and a lot taller , so I reckon his back may well be playing up ! All part of the ageing process , I think ! Especially for tall or overweight people .

Bryan has mentioned in interviews that he has had some back problems, I'm sure he had a fall from a bike whilst on holiday 4-5 years ago.

It could be part of the reason for him being seated at the piano a bit more on these tour dates but I think since he started to do the differerent arrangement of IEDHAH with more piano it is just the way he does it now. Perhaps he is giving more centre stage to the other musicians and adding more piano to the mix as he did in the old days. Perhaps the fact that the piano & keyboards are set to the side of the stage is more down to technical arrangement rather than hiding Bryan out of sight.

Interesting... I was wondering why he sat down so many times and I decided that it must be age. 2 hours on stage at his age would be quite tough I guess. When he went off stage I expected a change of outfit, something more "glittery" but that didn't happen. I have a back problem so if it is that he has my sympathies!!!!

I think when he goes off stage he gives his hair a quick dry off :)
