<snippet> "Frontman Bryan Ferry said almost nothing for an hour except “thank you”, when what was needed was a friendly chat, or at least some eye contact, to bring human warmth to the seated ranks of fans."

One of the things I like about the live Roxy experience is the lack of banal banter. Same with Dylan. There's no need for anything more than the occasional 'thank you'. I don't need to hear 'I was walking down [local high street] today when I saw [local cliche]'. That stuff is lame and contrived.

Bowie was a lot cooler before he became all matey on stage.

What a shoddy review. Anyway, isn`t it true that his voice is no longer vibrating? The reviewer ends his review the same way as the Norwegian reviewer after BF`s Dylanseque show in Norway; "he came, he went, and that was it."
