Having picked up on another post in another thread (and because I am an anorak) I wondered if any of you all picked up on those subtle changes to live arrangements v the studio ones.
Also changes from previous tours
Here's a few of mine
Prairie Rose - Andy and Jorja playing the circular melody at the end rather than piano/guitar or whatever it was on record
Amazona - changes in the structure - BF doesn't sing all the words and Andy does something recognizable as Sax and the middle bit now has drums
To Turn You On - full Roxy version with some nice sax from AM - they also changed the drum groove at the O2 to make it smoother
Streetlife - EJ's violin solo now on tape - sax more upfront
Sentimental Fool - oboe much more recognizable
Any others???

The best must be Tara with volin and sax as on 2001 live album. I would be interested to know how this developed and where the inspiration on the change came from?

Hi,... “Making a record is like building a ship in a bottle. Playing live music is like being in a rowboat in the ocean.”
