Ian S, perhap's Bryan is happier on stage when he is not with Roxy, but don't forget that he is obliged to perform festivals to play in front of a crowd. If not, I am not sure this tour would be a succes, I am sure of the contrary, actually. Hi last album is a commercial disaster.
In fact, Roxy have made much more for Bryan than Bryan for Roxy!
You say Olympia has been a commercial disaster but CD sales have fallen through the floor with the odd exception of the Adele and Lady Gaga phenomenons. Touring is where the money is. Even U2 have seen CD sales fall drastically but their current tour (albeit it took a year to turn a profit) is a huge earner.
I think Olympia is a great album.
