Many people say that we have seen, in early 2011 gigs, the last tour/gigs of the band, so the question is if there will be no more live acts in the future... In my opinion, more sooner than later it will be a kind of farewell tour.I bet this will take place in 2012/2013. It would be a world tour, and just it would be the way for the band to say thank you all the fans. And the last chance for all of us to say thanks for all these years of pleasure and enjoyment.

To say thank you (and bank about $10,000,000 each). A real thank you would be to invest some time (what else do they have to do?), book the smaller venues and do two nights in each. The first night is Roxy Music and For Your Pleasure. The second is Stranded and Country Life. Smaller band, nothing fancy. Top price of £50.
Dream on......

Might just be me but it would be nice if the last gig that Roxy did was in England, the previous time they disbanded was in the USA a year after the avalon album came out and this time in Australia. It just seems right that as a British (for the most part) band it would be a good way to go out.

Funnily enough when I was stood In the M.E.N Arena back in January, I took a couple of minutes to think to myself that this is possibly the very last time I will ever get to see Roxy live again....enjoy every second of it, and that I did.
That was kind of my farewell gig in a strange sort of way. would welcome another one though

I was also thinking along those lines too Helen !!!!!
What a brilliant idea Pumblechook - that would be such a perfect farewell for the fans.
If this years tour isn't their last one then I should imagine they won't be doing a farewell tour for a good while yet. That could well mean that BF would be nearing 70.
