1972. I was 14. Living in a small mining village on the outskirts of Barnsley. The only kid on the entire estate who went to a Grammer School. Not really affiliated to any particular social group, fashion trend or music. Looking for a glimmer of hope in my grey, leaden environment. Outsider. Individual. Dreaming. Waiting. Wanting. No way forward. Then Roxy happened. I entered a fabulous new world. This belonged to me. Aspiration. Inspiration. Glamour. Attitude. Style. Success. A new way forward. 2009. I am 51. I can never forget or underestimate the impact that Roxy had on my life. One last album and one last, glorious tour. Perhaps. We can hope. But I will always remember the thrill, the thrill, the thrill of it all |

Yeah, they`re just drunk. Can you believe it? Just for the ambience. Not real fans. Fooling around. I`ve had enough of it.-And they never appreciate new stuff from veteran artists...Just gimme the hits! |
