:D :shock:

I would like to see Eno contributing his sonic touches plus back up vocals (I think his vocal contribution to music is really distinct and underated - think Heroes, Once in a Lifetime as well as early Roxy such as Gray Lagoons and the end of ITIS).

I'd like writting to be mixed but with lyrics by Ferry.

Richard, what is wrong with Colin Good? He looks a bit oldfashioned but he knows his instrument well...? I do join you hoping Lucy will be part again, she seemed a very nice girl and the performance she gave on 'Out of the Blue' was marvellous!

I`ve never understood the Eno fascination.

Ferry, Manzanera, Mackay, that`s it!

I think CG did a great job as MD for the various tours since 2001 but I just feel its time for a change - nothing against him personally and strangely I think he looks the part

In this interview, in the french newspaper "Le Monde", Bryan explains why he finally didn't want this new album.
"I finally thought it wasn't a good thing. The Roxy Music legacy is so strong that, after all these years, the band could only come back with a bold album, more experimental and abstract. An original soundtrack would perhaps be ideal." :shock:

"An original soundtrack would perhaps be ideal."

-Sounds like a Mackay/ Manzanera album to me. Is that what we want? Is that what Ferry wants? An Explorer-like album, full of oboe and ambient guitars? When I bought The Explorers first album in a used record shop somewhere in the 90s, the guy said;
"-of course you can have it, but nobody wants it!" Besides, a soundtrack album wouldn`t be a "proper" album. A soundtrack album would be a side project, just like the soundtracks by Pink Floyd. Don`t accept all that you hear without objection, just because it comes from Bryan.

Sorry, you didn`t. However, Bryan said just about the same in a German interview.
