Rare TOTP footage

A TOTP cameraman (John Henshall) has just revealed that he kept copies of filming he did as a TOTP cameraman in the 1970s to show off his work to prospective employers. Apparantly,he has 100s of hours of TOTP footage erased by the BBC. So ,with any luck,all the Roxy appearances may not be lost forever ! Attached is a link for David Bowie performing Jean Jeanie which was shown last week on TV for the first time since 1973.

I remember street life. I hope it's not a false memory. Bry was at the piano, in white tux. It was seminal as farm I was concerned : the juxtaposition of "that look" and such a fresh, edgy sound. We spoke about it at school for days

He did hard rain on totp sat at the piano in a white suit, the street life appearance I'm pretty sure he was standing as I remember the long stare (that he seems to have mastered at that point) during the finger clicking after the instrumental break.

Would be nice to be able to see the Pyjamarama appearance on TOTP. Apparently someone at the Beeb recorded over it.

Dunno how true this is, but a mate's just told me that the BBC have found Roxy's 1973 performance of Street Life on TOTP !!!!!!!!!!!!!
