Bryan's tours are ok but it's RM for me - isn't that why we are all here?

Well, is it?

My involvement with this forum has shaken a lot of my core assumptions about the DNA of the Roxy fan base. I just assumed that everybody more or less felt the same as me - but this is clearly not the case and our points of entry and reference are quite varied.

I can get my head around most of that - although I am still struggling with Erland's view that we are all romantics. That is just too far removed from the self-image of the typical 1st generation Roxy fans to stack up, I'm afraid.

However, I digress. My most central assumption is the one that Gary makes above - although maybe that, too, is wrong. In fact, I know it is because Oberon has declared that his primary interest is BF's solo output.

Also, I have a colleague who doesn't think much of Roxy(apart from the first two albums), doesn't rate any of Bryan's solo stuff at all, but is quite heavily into Phil and has most of his output on his shelf.

So, is Oberon on his own here, or are there others amongst us for whom Bryan's solo offerings ( or Phil's...or Andy's...or Eno's ) are the main attraction?
