Strange:

http://www.amazon.com/Hard-Rains-Gonna- ... B0078ZBW8Y

or catch them on Spotify.com
Search for "Roxy Music" and at the end of the list some Tributebands will appear.

It seems odd to call a Roxy tribute CD after a Ferry cover of a Dylan song or am I just being a geek?

There's a few other Bryan songs on the ...err....Roxy tribute album as well ! Not long to go before Roxy songs will be included on a Bryan Tribute album or a Bryan Greatest Hits album and eventually Roxy Music will dead and buried.

It seems to me that BF set out to blur (erase?) the line between him and Roxy a long time ago. And for both Mamouna and Olympia he and his "promotional team" made a big effort to connect the albums with Roxy via the (limited) contributions of PM, AM, and Eno.

Roxyrama and Roxy Magic both play BF and Roxy tunes. A sign of the times...

Interesting point, DCJ. I read an interview with Manzanera in 1994 where he said he couldn't hear himself on Mamouna even though he's credited with playing on it. Made me wonder if he really was on it along with Eno and Mackay. I really believed that Roxy had reformed in 2001 only to find that the next album was a Bryan solo album,Frantic featuring Paul Thompson. Then we had all the Bryan tours mixed in with Roxy tours which reminded me of 1973,1974 and 1975 when Bryan had the parallel careers.Made me wonder if he was trying to recreate the glory years again, although Roxy were effectively dead as a recording band.
