Post subject:  Neil Young 75

Only a few weeks after our hero Bryan Ferry Neil Young has reached the same age. He always had been a special character of his own and his music sometimes didn't meet the expectations of his fans, floating somewhere between folk, country, rock, electro pop and noise 8-) . Now that he has become a citizen of the US all the best to him, may he stay healthy (and a little bit angry ;) ).

BTW, we shouldn't forget that Roxy Music recorded only 4 cover versions: In The Midnight Hour, Eight Miles High, Jealous Guy ... and Like A Hurricane by Neil Young! The Roxy version is absolutely great but when Bryan played it in Munich's Circus Krone in 2018 I got goose bumps because Chris Spedding was the soloist and he was fantastic :D .

He`s a different taste. I`d guess not many fans of Neil Young are a fan of Bryan. They would just say "-no", and "-not", maybe without being able to explain. It`s visceral. They don`t count him among their heroes. He belongs to those who came after.
