Well City deserved it . They played the best football. But they're just a bunch of mercenaries playing for the highest bidder. It's the death of the football club, really. Whoever has the richest chairman wins. Even Newcastle have changed the name of their stadium to the name of the shop that the Chairman owns.

They are just doing what almost all of us do i.e. selling their services to the employer who offers the greatest reward. The "club player" is very much the exception nowadays at the top level. I know that there are a few still around but I wonder how many of them are one club men because nobody else wants to buy them.

When they are firing on all cylinders, City are easily the best and most entertaining club in England. However, even though the stats don't support this, I can't help but feel that there is a fault line running through them that is never too far away from opening up. I think this is down to a flaw in the management at the club. If they had blown it yesterday then I think that they would just have disintigrated whereas, under somebody like Ferguson, they would have picked up the pieces and come back stronger.

Anyway, English football is all very interesting, but what about the big story of the moment? Rangers' new owner elect is a chap called Green and their previous owner was Whyte. You couldn't make it up!

Haha! you're not wrong there John. I'm just so tired today and not with it... had very little sleep and too much fizzy stuff. I think my tonsils are missing too, I screamed that loud when Aguero scored I think the man stood in front of me might still have them down the back his shirt... ;)

Anyway it was a fantastic final and it has been a fantastic season, absolutely loved it. Man City are worthy winners, No doubt about that. Can't wait for next season.

I'll leave you with some pretty pictures.

Haha! Brilliant......But do you have a sausage roll thumb?

Aww thanks. And commiserations to you Peanut. It was certainly a rollercoaster of emotions for both City and United fans. Its the best league in the world and now with the added bonus that Man City are the champions of England.

I'm so proud.

I'm impressed that you know the Lovely Eggs. I've been a fan for a while, but they are fairly obscure.

Forget the sausage roll thumb. Have you ever read Richard Brautigan? If not, you're in trouble.
