The actor Jeff Bridges ('The Dude' in 'The Big Lebowski') made a record in 2000 titled 'Be Here Soon'.
Mr. Ferry is credited on the song 'Movin' ' according to website allmusic.com.
To my ears,I cannot hear him singing on this track.
Is allmusic.com. misinformed or?

I once heard rumours about Mr. Ferry taking part as a thug in the motion picture 'Cliffhanger' (1989) but he was eventually cut out of the scenes but appears to be seen in the extras on the DVD.

As I haven't got neither the Jeff Bridges-CD or the movie in my belongings can anyone confirm these rumours?

If I remember correctly, he was up for the part as the villain in Cliffhanger but Stallone didn't like the idea of another Rick star breaking into movies, so that part ultimately went to John Lithegow (sp?)

That renowned resource Wikipedia also claims BF sang backing vocals on Cliff Richard's 'We Don't Talk Anymore'. It's true that it's online but I find the fact rather hard to believe.
