Good showing, if not entirely spot on in accuracy, but we can run with it.

A vigorous delight - I love what I've heard so far too!

I do like the vision of the last line of the review, ... not sure if Moet would be the drink of choice, though.

According to the author Michael Bonner " 'The Jazz Age' was one of the very best of Ferry's efforts ".
Hmm,I'm not quite sure I have to agree with that,I could easily mention other BF album highlights.
IMHO 'The Jazz Age' was an experiment without Mr. Ferry even participating on the album except for producing it.
But,overall quite an interesting and very positive article contrary to the article in 'Mojo',and now I can't wait to get my hands on 'Avonmore'.

Kind regards,
Henrik.

Debauched Dilettantes,
This looks extremely encouraging, particularly as Monsieur Bonners' appreciation of the phenomenal 'Jazz Age' establishes him as a man with impeccable taste!
Windswept's excitement cup is running over. He can't wait for November 17th — living proof that it's possible for an ageing hipster to suffer from teenage angst.
Salutations,
Windswept

If I can put another spin on "The Jazz Age." My eldest lad (who's a musician) asked me recently why I never force-fed him Roxy/Bryan/Eno music when he was growing up. Obviously he heard my choices pretty often, but I usually played what he wanted in the car, even his first cd - the Spice Girls (!!). I explained I didn't want to dictate to him as he should develop his own taste - his faves now include The Clash, The Kinks, James Brown, Johnny Cash, The Prodigy, ska stuff.

He rates "The Jazz Age" as his all-time favourite Roxy/Bryan album as it creates so many moods and pictures (we've heard a similar description before haven't we?!).
