Cher Monsieur Rendezvous There can't be a greater complement than this. I started wearing mine to bed until Mrs.W said; "look this has to stop - you are getting ridiculous". I fear she'll never fully understand! But yes, you are correct, the album is fabulous and the trumpet on SITC is sublime. I think it's Enrico Tomasso - the little wizard! Salutations, Windswept

According to jpc.de 'Avonmore' Japan will contain a bonus track - available 2014-12-24. Maybe a live recording ... ?

Happy Hedonists, Looking at the set lists from this weeks fandangos it would appear that only 'Loop Di Li' and 'Driving Me Wild' have made it into the current show. Windswept has the feeling that this leaves this great new album somewhat underrepresented. Hopefully we'll get more as the tour progresses? Personally Windswept would love to see 'Soldier Of Fortune', 'Avonmore', 'Johnny & Mary' and a stripped version of 'Send In The Clowns' make an appearance. With this frequency of touring surely newer material from both 'Avonmore' and 'Olympia' has to start to take precedent? One of the many things that made AEWBF such a landmark was that TJA got a good airing and there were some truly innovative new arrangements with TBFO being used to excellent effect. With the current band, this won't be possible and IWNSHO, this makes new material a must. The opinions of renowned Roxologists on this most important point would be extremely welcome. Salutations, W2

Am certainly not "renowned", but for what it's worth, I see most of the new album, and excellent it is, being kept for a live "airing" on the next tour. Agree completely, about the trumpet insert on S.I.T.C. A stroke of genius.
